Most Hispanics are considered white according to the census.

So then yes.  My race is white, but my ethnicity is half-Hispanic. However  when some people say "white" they mean "non-Hispanic white." For example I went to a 97% white High School (almost all Irish/Italian/German/Anglo-Saxon Protestant descent) and people were quick to call me "non-white" because I'm Hispanic.

I don't know what Snow is.  And no, I'm not less white... Portuguese people are white, but most people don't know that.  They hear Portuguese and think Brazilian, typically.  On a more reals note, I just think that if anyone else on the Iberian peninsula can claim Hispanic heritage then so can I.  Makes me a bit more exotic, too, IMO.  I was once dating this Asian girl and she said if we ever had kids it would be cool because they would be 1/3 Asian, 1/3 white, and 1/3 Hispanic.  Not mathematically accurate, but chicks love halfies so whatever, I'll run with it.

I once knew a kid who said that people in Spain couldn't be white because they had names similar to Mexicans. Let that sink in for a while.
