Although I'm quite adamant that my Portuguese heritage makes me Hispanic, it's a white-ish Hispanic, so I'll have to say that I am.
Do you consider yourself and Snowstalker to be less white than Italians or Lebanese?
I don't know what Snow is. And no, I'm not less white... Portuguese people are white, but most people don't know that. They hear Portuguese and think Brazilian, typically. On a more reals note, I just think that if anyone else on the Iberian peninsula can claim Hispanic heritage then so can I. Makes me a bit more exotic, too, IMO. I was once dating this Asian girl and she said if we ever had kids it would be cool because they would be 1/3 Asian, 1/3 white, and 1/3 Hispanic. Not mathematically accurate, but chicks love halfies so whatever, I'll run with it.
I once knew a kid who said that people in Spain couldn't be white because they had names similar to Mexicans. Let that sink in for a while.
