First time being posted here, yay!

But this post from the same thread really needs to be here:

Would it have voted for Obama or Romney in 2012? Are they more fiscal conservatives or moderate populists? What is the emoviolent scene like?

Man, I really hope y'all don't mind me doing this, but some of this hindsight is top tier material. Edited to leave in just the relevant parts:

Libertas was a genius who was clearly vastly more intelligent than pretty much everyone else here; which spelled his doom, since the thing people hate the most is when they're arguing with someone who's smarter than they are, and both of them know it.  He typically gave well-thought out, well sourced, intelligent arguments in debates, which he usually won; although he didn't give the time of day to idiots; which typically infuriated them.

---

Read his posting history.  You'll find it to be generally witty, constructive, and intelligent.

I love these thinly veiled excuses to brag about Minneapolis.

"I can't believe somewhere in Oklahoma actually di... I mean MINNEAPOLIS DID THIS YEARS AGO ALONG WITH MANY OTHER AGREEABLY AWESOME AND SUPERIORLY PROGRESSIVE THINGS BECAUSE MINNEAPOLIS IS THE GREATEST BECAUSE IT'S WHERE I LIVE.. I mean sitll though I can't believe Jokelahoma could harbor such a place unlike MINNEAPOLIS WHICH HARBORS ALL KINDS OF AGREEABLY AWESOME AND SUPERIORLY PROGRESSIVE THINGS LIKE EVERYTHING A PROGRESSIVE COULD EVER WANT LIKE SPITTING IN CONSERVATIVES' DINNERS!"

Background - Carson puts a sponge in a patient's brain.

Wow, he transplanted some of his own brain into a patient? While unethical, that's impressive.

Not really.  While he's old enough to have been the model for the engraving, I can't imagine him wearing an English riding outfit.

Watching the Cards/Cubs game, I'm like 30% drunk.  In an hour I'll probably be more like 75% drunk(specially if the game ends poorly), who should I send threat of violence to via pm?  Whos Cubs fan?
Maybe too soon, but I don't really care: LOL.

All of a sudden, Joe Biden comes out of nowhere and announces he'll be running for president an hour or so before the start of the debate. He appears on stage and destabilizes the whole game.

No, don’t announce it an hour before the debate.  Have it be a surprise.  The debate will include questions submitted via Facebook.  So what if the first question is this?:

“Tonight represents a chance for the American people to see all of the Democratic candidates for president engage in rhetorical combat at the highest level.  So why is there one candidate missing from the stage?”

Anderson Cooper: I’m sorry, but Larry Lessig didn’t meet our criteria for inclusion.

Biden's voice from offstage: I’m not talking about Larry Lessig.

(Biden strolls onto stage)

Biden: I’m talking about the Vice President of the United States.

(everyone gasps)

Biden: Now let’s cut the malarky and get to why I’m here.  I’m here to declare my candidacy for president of the United States.

(Biden points to O’Malley)

Biden: Now move over Marty, I’m talking that spot.

It sounds like satire, it may be some students who are trolling someone else. It simply sound like something conservative students would make up to troll other students.
It does, absolutely Tongue But it's actually for real, organized by real campus activist groups.

I suppose we have to ask ... Do SJW's hate the Netherlands?

Answer: no, they quite like dikes.
