While I can't say I agree with her steadfast commitment to pacifism or attachment to the Catholic Church, I would still say its fairly obvious to me at least that she was one of the definitive Freedom Fighters of the 20th Century.

I at first thought this was about Doris Day, a Hollywood actress from the 1950s and a loyal Republican Tongue. I was shocked that you would call her "one of the definitive Freedom Fighters of the 20th Century" at first.

Dorothy Day is the definition of a freedom fighter. She gives social justice a good name.
