I didn't vote, but not because of any silly conviction that says voting is worthless. I just didn't vote because I don't yet have an Illinois drivers' license, which is required to register for some reason. Thanks, Illinois.

I didn't vote, but not because of any silly conviction that says voting is worthless. I just didn't vote because I don't yet have an Illinois drivers' license, which is required to register for some reason. Thanks, Illinois.

False. I was required only to show proof of address and a photo ID upon first time registration this year.

...Yeah a driver's license is the only way I would be able to prove my address.

Champaign County sent me a voter card after I registered, which served as proof of address. Also, any piece of mail suffices.
