I was wrong, guys. I underestimated the stupidity/whiteness of the electorate.

I apologize guys.

On the bright side, I won't be leaving Smiley

Please do stick around. You managed to hold opinions far outside the Atlas mainstream without being grating, and I think you contributed usefully to our discussion of the midterms. So please stay Smiley

This is how you react, instead of claiming fraud, like Dean Chambers did. There is nothing wrong with being wrong, it's not admitting it that makes for a problem.

I was also wrong.

I accept that I TOTALLY underestimated the GOP and over-estimated the Democratic GOTV.

Congratulations to the GOP and I hope you don't wreck the joint too much... I still want to come and visit Tongue

...actually, a lot, maybe most, of the polls you called out really were junk. Just not in the way some of us thought.

Actually, I hate to admit this, but KCDem was right all along. The polls were junk. They were biased...just against the Republicans, not the Democrats. Tongue

KCDem said the polling was junk all along...we should have listened!

It's kind of funny how far New Hampshire swung in the 2010 wave, but it was one of the few Dem hold outs this time (except for Shea-Porter, RIP, #SheaPorter4Congress2016)

We also had flawed candidates Quinn and Hagen

Ultra liberal candidates that the polls overstated their support.

We will have better candidates nxt time around.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Are you still on that "ultra liberal" crap? First of all, it's Hagan. Secondly, she isn't far left. Third, you act like Natalie Tennant, John Barrow, Nick Rahall, etc. did any better.

Hagan is a terrible candidate. The only reason she was competitive in the first place was because Tillis was quite weak himself.

You're right, liberals like Franken, Merkeley, Schatz and the like just can't win.

The only other Dem to win in NC, and he was pragmatic John Edwards, Hagen was ahead in most of polls and couldnt put it away.
