Were the losses too embarrassing?

I wasted thousands of dollars on Alison Lundergan-Grimes Sad

Maybe Hagan against Burr? Possibly Landrieu for the open seat in 2016, but probably not. Gillespie will definitely be running for either governor or Senate.

Nunn and Carter could both run again.

Gillespie will run for governor.

Hopefully Kay Hagan runs for something again. Maybe governor in 2016? Nunn should run again for Senate in 2016.

IIRC Cooper is running for governor, so that would leave Senate for Hagan.

Should try again:

-Ed Gillespie (Could run for Governor or Senator)
-Steven Horsford (Hurt by dismal turnout)
-Pete Gallego (See above)
-John Barrow (Would probably have held on in a more favorable year)
-Kay Hagan (Might decide to retire)
-Mark Begich
-Alison Lundergan Grimes (If she learns from her mistakes)
-Nick Casey (Did alright, all things considered)
-Doug Owens (Dems should definitely not give up in Utah)
-If Ami Bera, Scott Peters, Jim Costa, or Julia Brownley lose, they should try again in 2016.
-Michelle Nunn (Maybe)

Don't expect to see again:
-Carol Shea-Porter (I love her, but a person can only handle so many close races in such a tight span)
-Nick Rahall (Done)
-Tim Bishop (Done)
-Domenic Recchia (Electoral joke)
-Lee Terry
-Dan Maffei

I could definitely see Landrieu going for the open seat in 2016 if Vitter goes for Governor. In addition, Gillespie now has the momentum to seek another office, most likely Governor.

Outside of that though, aside from sacrificial lambs I don't really see any. Time will tell.

I would have put her on any run again list.

Hagan would not go for Governor. Cooper already is. She might go for Senate.

As for Nunn, I doubt she'll go against Isakson, who seems to be running in 2016. I definitely think Nunn should make a comeback though in 2020 -- rematch against Perdue?
