Should have run for MA Gov Scott, but you got greedy.

I expect him to make the great schlep to Florida now.

He's a good choice for a Republican presidential cabinet.

He would still be in the Senate if he ran against Markey in 2013. Gabriel Gomez came within single digits. And he wouldn't've lost in this climate, either. And if we'd gotten someone better to run against Jeanne Shaheen -- Dan Innis and Chris Sununu come to mind -- we might have that one as well by now. It's clear the "carpetbagger" line of attack stuck, and Shaheen still barely won.

You know, considering the results tonight (particularly ones like MA-Gov and MD-Gov) I'm half convinced he'd be in the Senate had he run against Markey in 2014.

Nah, Markey still would've been safe. Vosem is probably right though.

Tonight proved that Coakley is an epic loser, and Brown can only win against Coakley.

He probably eyed NH on the basis that long term it had the potential to be more secure.

I don't think so. He was still very popular in MA pre-carpetbagging, and Markey is about as exciting as watching paint dry.

If he runs for something in 2016, it'll be NH-2, MA-6 or MA-9.

But he's definitely not running for president after this defeat.

I honestly think Jeanne Shaheen would've lost tonight if her opponent had been anyone else.
