Ernst winning by more than Sullivan, Gardner, and Perdue.

But the clear winner is Hogan's 9 point victory.

Isn't that district like D+2 and considered to be competitive? Not especially surprising IMO.

Where to start?

-Andrew Cuomo will be walking to the Governor's Mansion with a whopping 54% of the vote--Asa Hutchinson outperformed him
-The Illinois Democratic Party couldn't find enough dead people to pull Pat Quinn over the finish line
-New Hampshire's Senate race was called quite a bit earlier than I expected
-Mark "Sexgod" Warner won't hit 50%
-Despite putting up a fight, Pryor got Blanched
-Roberts won by a lot
-Tillis winning in North Carolina

Mark Warner, definitely. That was ridiculous.

I literally said, "What the faaa.... "

I turned to CNN from Fox because I thought had it wrong.

West Virginia should be given back to the Confederacy.

-Patrick Murphy's easy reelection
-Louise Slaughter winning by 500 votes
-Democratic hold on all three of the "outer" MN districts
-Wark Warner's extremely narrow win
-muh "100 people on the ground" having no effect for Begich
-Amanda Curtis had a higher vote share that Mark Pryor
-potentially fun 3-way race in SD was just a boring Rounds majority
-my random prediction of MD (based on lack of nonsh**tty polls) being accurate
-Oregon being so close

Republican strength in CT, VT, and the MA win. Apparently republicans are back to being competitive even in the NE.

Hard to pick between MD-Gov, Adam Laxalt winning NV-AG, and Republicans picking up Wendy Davis' State Senate district.

Isn't Wendy Davis' (former) seat a swing district? I don't think it's that surprising.

Landrieu will likely lose in December, especially because a victory there is far less important since it won't effect the balance of power in the Senate by any significant measure, and, although I stand by my earlier prediction that she will ultimately lose, a win would be the biggest surprise of this election cycle, considering how much ground she would have to gain in one month.

I can confirm that TX GOP explicitly targeted that seat. TX GOP went all shock and awe this year they wanted to dominate everything - governor, lieutenant governor, house, senate, tx house, tx senate, judicial appointments, land commissioner, dog catcher you name it.

They didn't want to just win. They wanted massive, soul crushing defeat.
