It's probably better to look at the trends and movement of the polls rather than the current numbers.

They should be illegal regardless, but then there would be nothing to talk about.

Compared to what?  Using a mathematical formula based on state fundamentals or something?

Let me put it this way…..if there had been *zero* polls taken in this cycle, would pundits have done a better or worse job of predicting who would win each Senate race than they did IRL?

Va was the surprise of election, we thought Ga would be, but gov races in ME, FL and KS were flawed.

Nah, I agree with BeccaM. From now on it seems it's better to focus on long term trends.
