Sould voting be compulsary?

No, not compulsory, but it should be conditional for any sort of government services such as a driver's license, police protection, citizenship, etc.

One should be allowed of course to vote 'none of the above'.

I don't quite understand while someone would propose that idea.  It seems strange and contradictory to itself, really.

Because it would help Democrats.

There's nothing to be gained by attempting to force disinterested and uninformed people to vote.  We're better off without their participation. 

Well, of course your side is better off!

Besides, I'll accept the 'disinterested' comment, but it seems a bit of a stretch to say that non-participation automatically means you're uninformed.  In fact some would say to be truly informed about the 'democratic' system would cause one to eschew all participation.

He's exhibit one of why we need a poll tax of a few hundred thousand dollars, and a property requirement of 500 acres.

500 acres?  Nobody I know would be able to vote with that requirement.
