Good. He's as much of a traitor as Blanche is for opposing $10.10.

Yep; that really surprised me. He made up for it by Pulaski County by a larger margin (56/41 vs 51/45).

The overall margin was a bit closer, though.

Blanched rolls off the tongue better, plus it's an actual word.

"Blanching is a cooking process wherein the food substance, usually a vegetable or fruit, is plunged into boiling water"

Kind of fitting for what it describes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the main gist of that seems to be based on the districts Lincoln/Boozman represented in Congress? Ex: Without Boozman, the 3rd swung Dem. Without Lincoln, the 1st swung Republican.

^ Yeah. Cotton is also from the Russellville area, which is probably why the counties in between CDs 2 and 3 are bluish-purple.

Pryor outperformed Lincoln in the southern part of CD4, but I was still expecting him to pick off many more counties there. The DSCC said they registered thousands of new black voters in that area, but I guess it wasn't enough to cancel out the slump with whites.

I can't believe he ran unopposed in 2008 and now this. What a pathetic loser. His vote against Manchin-Toomey was the last straw. GOOD riddance.

Yeah, not sad to see him lose. Unfortunate to see him replaced by a guy who supports George W. Bush's 2003 foreign policy in 2014, but still...

Yea, I was surprised how badly Pryor lost. I thought he would lose by 5 points.

Even Bill and Hillary Clinton couldn't save Pryor.

Blow to their egos I'm sure.

I wasn't a fan of Pryor, but considering Cotton's views, Pryor would have still been much better.
