This bill is unnecessary, as the legislation in question has already expired and has not been renewed by the Assembly. I recommend the sponsor table it.

Expiration does not equal repeal from the statute book.  Even though it is no longer in effect, it remains on the statute book and would mislead those looking through it.  I don't quite understand why it wouldn't be expeditious to go ahead and remove an act that is no longer in force.

I am opposed to the motion to table.

The voting period is now over. This bill now goes to the governor for his signature or veto.
