They had a referendum on Scottish independence from the UK, and on UK independence from the EU, both very recently.

What will be the next big referendum for the UK?

Should we bomb ourselves?Huh? Remember we have to treat the bombit supporters seriously otherwise you are ELITISTSTSTTS

Experts saying we shouldn't bomb ourselves are WRONG my feelings demand we bomb ourselves and some random politicians have a sort of vague bunch bombing ourselves with end up OK in the long term maybe.

Nationwide referendums are rare, so I fear the next one will either be on Disestablishment or Republicanism, but neither will happen within the next 20 years. Charles' reign will affect both a lot.

Australia, on the other hand, I think will become a republic soon after HM dies.

"Disestablishment"?

And can anyone see anything come on the Northern Ireland front, or the various territories?

Eliminating the state religion in England. So I guess that makes me literally an antidisestablishmentarian.

A referendum on the deal with EU.

But that will only be held in the United Kingdom of Small Britain and Belfast Suburbs.

I do not think there will be another Referendum on current UK borders: simply not enough time left. But, yes, Small Britain will vote for the EU deal.

Antidisestablishmentarianistically, we should consider whether such a referendum would result in the use of very long words becoming common.

Hopefully a vote on joining an American Union. They would be much better off with us.

Ideally, a referendum on NATO.

Scotland realistically.

Sinn Fein has called for a referendum on unification.

So it's back to the Troubles, then.  Splendid.
