Obnoxious SOB. Between his behavior as majority leader and that BS during the 2012 election about Mitt Romney not paying any taxes, it's like he's trying to use the Cheney-Rove playbook.

Massive FF. Unfortunately, he won't be senate majority leader again because of the misogynistic country he lives in.

For heckling the embarrassment to the religion Mitt Romney, I say FF.

His guts to get ACA off the ground, his ruthless standing firm against the Turtle and Robot (Boehner) throughout there obstruction are commendable.

That said, he's been vulnerable to some centrist stupidity here and there, and really doesn't seem so nice.

I like him. He's had quite an interesting life and he seems to have some guts in fighting for Democratic causes.

Horrible Senator - staunchly partisan, nearly as bad as the tea party when it comes to compromise, has served too many terms. I hope Sandoval gives him a nice big spanking in 2016.

Reid plays his role as apologist for the administration well. He allows the fiction to be peddled that 'they couldn't pass anything without 60 votes in 2009-10' in spite of the fact that as Majority Leader the whole time, he could have simply held an up or down vote on abolishing the filibuster and then crammed through what it was the liberals wanted to see passed. The fact that he didn't should tell you everything that you need to know about the desire of the Obama administration to see things like universal healthcare (forget single payer, I'm talking about the much celebrated public option that the Democrats claimed they couldn't pass), climate change mitigation legislation, card check, a higher minimum wage, etc. get enacted as law.

My God, you seem joyless.

But yes, Reid is trash. Smiley

HS.  In principle, he could be a good fighter.  But he has become a tool of certain backers only and doesn't really care about policy consequences.  Plus, he has happily arrogated to himself the role of being president of American domestic policy--with Obama's apparent consent.

We just had a poll on him, and I'm obviously sticking by my answer:

Massive FF. Hopefully he's reelected in 2016 and gets the majority back.

HS. If Sandoval doesn't run for President, then he should run against Reid for the Senate and turn his ass into footwear.

He's better than any Republican senator, but the Senate Democrats need to replace him as leader.
