I don't know if he can still make a dark horse run for president in 2016. Probably 2020.

Well; as it looks now, R's pickup MO and Dems hold up in KY. NH; NC; Mnt are potentially competetive.

I still want to know what pie-in-the-sky theory you've come up with that has convinces you Democrats aren't going to hold the Missouri Governor's Mansion.

MO's a toss-up. Koster is a pretty good candidate, yes, but MO has a republican tilt, and neither Hanaway nor Kinder are sacrificial lambs.

Praying that we can return Indiana back to it's "Horrible State" status, up from its current Pence-era "Massive HS" status.

Would you say Ritz would be a better candidate than Gregg, who's probably running?

Pence is still favored, but if Democrats have a good year and actually invest in this race, it could be quite close.

Ritz is one of the most popular statewide officials, if not the most IIRC. She's so popular that even a large amount of Republicans were upset at Pence's partisan attempts to remove powers from her office.

Pence was one top GOPer who was definatively against Affordable Care Act. This will be a competetive race, Dems need to try to win this race.

It also gives her a strong narrative to run on. "Mike Pence has defied the will of the voters by stripping this position of power. I must run for the only office that will allow me to influence education policy, Governor of Indiana."

She also got more votes than Pence (or Donnelly, for that matter.)
