Would only be relevant on judicial confirmations for the most part.

Collins, Murkowski, Kirk. After that some of Portman, McCain, Capito, Heller.

Judicial Confirmations are generally not as partisan (even Obama's last two nominees sailed through with more than 60 votes). I say Collins, Murkowski, Kirk, Portman, McCain, Capito, Heller, Ayotte, Alexander, and even Graham, Roberts, Grassley, and Hatch.

Oh, and Paul.

I thought his "confirm the President's nominees" philosophy only applied to the Cabinet? Paul has cast his fair share of votes against judicial nominees. In fact, the only Republicans that seem to regularly cross the aisle in that regard are Murkowski and Collins, although Ayotte and Isakson sometimes do as well.

Kirk, Johnson, Toomey and Ayotte if they know what's good for them.

Toomey and Ayotte would probably want to appear moderate or at least bipartisan to win re-election in 2016, so they can be reachable if the Dems need 50 votes.

And with judges, it is worth noting that Graham actually voted for Kagan and Sotomayor.

Fat chance. Snarlin' Arlen was just about the only one in the caucus. Even Senator Snowe, our most moderate Senator in the early Obama years, would never have jumped ship.

We're talking about who would vote with the Dems to get 50 votes, not who would join the Democrats.

FWIW I think you weren't the only one who misinterpreted the thread title.

The same ones who did in the past. They're also the same Republican Senators who support eliminating private property. Wink

My bad. I understood it as "50 votes with Biden as a tiebreaker."
