An assessment I certainly agree with. Ticket-punching next?

lol at including Ernst as a nominee. I think the media was the most biased in that race of any race in recent memory. No matter how many crazy statements and conspiracies Ernst talked about, the only things the media ever reported on were Braley's chickens, his farmer comment, and Michelle Obama saying his name wrong.

Gardner is a pretty good choice though.

Bennett barely won, and that was during a GOP wave.  Gardner managed to pull through, a win is a win.

I absolutely agree.  He is definitely presidential material.

It still baffles me that the good people of Colorado chose a baby-faced, anti-condom manlet over a rugged mountain-climbing ladies man like Mark Udall. Sad

I don't know, I'm still more impressed by an openly ultra right-wing candidate winning in Iowa by 8% than I am by someone who went out his way to portray himself as a Moderate Hero winning in Colorado by 2%. Just saying.

Because the media was in the tank for Ernst. Granted, they bashed Udall's campaign a lot as well, but he deserved it. Braley deserved it as well, but the truly disgusting part was that every time Ernst revealed that she was just a more charismatic Sharron Angle, the media glossed over it and instead wrote puff pieces about how "folksy" and "likable" she was.
