We've entered double digits for the headache.  When will this madness end?

He might have a blood clot in his brain, which will inevitably burst sooner or later.

How has he not seen a doctor about this?

Jeff is the ideal conservative argument for free/subsidized healthcare not improving health outcomes. He'd be a particularly colorful anecdotal example for an anti-ACA candidate to use in a speech. The Welfare Queen of this century, if you will.

The scariest part is that he thinks it's normal to have daily headaches.

Do you doubt that his health would be even worse without the medication that he receives? The cocktail of pills he undoubtedly takes for high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc is almost certainly the only reason he's still around to entertain us.

Like most good parables, Update is definitely open to interpretation.

Is Bushie a symbol for why we should destroy the welfare state and force moochers to shape up? Or proof that there are people who society is better off never giving any work responsibility?

Is free healthcare the only thing keeping Bushie alive? Or does easy access to medicated fixes make him more risky with his health?

Is religion a crux destroying his psyche? Or... well most things are up for interpretation at least.

it's clearly an OCD symptom, especially considering the 0-9 grading system he's created and obsesses over.  so it's hardly clear how much of it can be traced to psychological rather than physiological causes.

No it didn't. You still said it's Grade 2. Grade 0 is your headache ending. You have no interest in ending it.

For me, a headache doesn't start until it's Grade 3.  Grade 2 is nothing more than a little discomfort, but not painful.  I haven't had a Grade 3 in about 60 hours.  Truth be told, it's hard to classify my head discomfort as a Grade 2.   Maybe a Grade 1 if you want to reach.

A headache is discomfort. You still have a headache, even if you refuse to call it that.

How can you give a headache a grade higher than 0 and then say that it's not a headache? Doesn't make sense.

Discomfort in your head all the time is not normal, healthy OR GENETIC.

Considering he already wears glasses, the amount of TV he watches is doing him no good, add in a diet very high in everything that triggers a headache, his pathetic water consumption and the likelihood of high blood pressure... Yeah, it's genetics.
