I'm extremely skeptical that China will prioritize curtailing emissions ahead of steady GDP growth anytime over the next decade.

With this "deal" they don't have to cut anything at all and are allowed to pollute more and more until 2030....at which point they wont have to do anything then either because they can ignore it if they want to.  AND they're always making promises (as shown in my earlier post) yet the place is just getting dirtier and dirtier.  I'm not sure why people are celebrating this as some kind of victory for Obama or the environmental movement, it's not either of those things.  Not even close.
