Whether it be the vocals, the beat, or something you cant put your finger on... Put songs that just "click" with you in this thread.

I mean songs that kind of snuck up on you...not some Green Day song they played at your grad party.

Mine is La Vie en rose by Grace Jones.  Her alto tone just shivered me timbers.

Ive always had a thing for talented altos...who are overlooked in music.

And an alto singing sexy in French is probably what id show God to remind him that creating humans was not a mistake.

I know some people think it's an awful ear worm, but I've never really considered it to be one of those songs that stick in your head.  Anyway here's a link with real ducks!

I actually prefer this version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1v_EcjeIkg

But Saturday Morning Slow Jams did it well, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8X_DPy9KSU

What do you mean by songs that "click"?

This honestly struck me as hilarious because it's reminiscent of a canned AI response. And because you're so dim sometimes. If we met in real life, I doubt we'd click easily.

Oh, and I forgot to reply properly. Many songs just click for a small reason to me, usually a catchy melody or for being weird in an appealing way. What really gets me are big builds to a crescendo (see the song in my signature). I typically put a song that "clicks" to me there.

Kevin MacLeod. Yeah its instrumental, but it sticks in you mind, like The Cannery or The Amazing Plan.

When you experiment with psychedelics, this list becomes endlessly long.

Yes, because of the visual hallucinations. But I implore our young readers to not waste their time on psychedelics reading the Atlas forum.

Auditory hallucinations actually. The bass line comes alive.

Been a few years now, but I remember surfing the forum winding down on trips.  Not terrible, but probably better to watch TV - more likely to fall asleep while it's still dark.

Meh, D+.

Honestly, it didn't keep in time with the music or the lyrics. Not really at any point at all. If you're going to parody a song you should at least do one or the other.
