Kirk is as responsible for the "gridlock" in Congress as every other Republican Senator.

Yet still popular among IL Dems

Unfortunately no one pays enough attention to politics to figure out that Kirk votes consistently with the likes of the most conservative Senators, then bucks the Republicans with one strategic, high profile vote that everyone hears about.

Duckworth has a good biography, but I think Illinois should have someone more liberal than 166/188 most liberal for Democrats in the House.

I wouldn't worry too much, she'll be pushed heavily to vote how the majority of Democrats are by leadership. In the House, her vote didn't really matter so she did whatever. Just like how Kirk is supposedly "moderate," but he rarely breaks with the GOP rank and file.

And there goes Kirk masquerading as a moderate.

Q1 2015: Kirk raises ~$1 Million, Duckworth only about ~$522,000.

So far, so much for Kirk being doomed. Smiley

I refer you to Linda McMahon

And Meg Whitman.

Why hasn't there been any meaningful polling on this race yet?!

Nice Sarcasm.

Kirk has a tough fight ahead, but he's hardly DOA.

With Kirk's proven lack of a filter (not just limited to this "Iran appeasement" crap) he's working hard to change that.

Human Rights Campaign Endorses Kirk

I am literally speechless. I guess Bernie was right about the HRC.

They need a token Republican, like how the Tea Party endorsed Walt Minnick (D-ID) in 2010.
