For Democratic turnout? Maybe.

The fact of the matter is if Kirk uses language like Flake and Manchin on the deal, and Duckworth seems comparatively greatly supportive, then she could start losing Democratic-leaning independents.

Daniel Hynes is one of the few Illinois Democrats I could support. I might support Sink if Kirk does something really awful.

Hmm... If Kirk becomes too horrible, I'll support Napoleon Harris.

It's very hard for an Illinois Republican to be worse than the Illinois Democrat.

So ridiculous true; comment lacks shows understanding of Illinois politics

It's not that Kirk isn't pretty mediocre. It's that he's the main hope of anti-corruption measurements in the state. I'd endorse Giannoulius over him, but all the other IL Democrats can't win a primary without some corruption.

Yep. Harris>Kirk>Zopp

I like Harris OK, but the other two Democrats are Quinn-geworthy.

Human Rights Campaign Endorses Kirk

I am literally speechless. I guess Bernie was right about the HRC.

They need a token Republican, like how the Tea Party endorsed Walt Minnick (D-ID) in 2010.

Two of them apparently - article notes they endorsed Dold as well.

Duckworth and Schneider may have just lost the election. Nice!

Hey, Wulfirc, between Harris, Zopp, and Duckworth, what do you rank them?

If Trump or Cruz is on the ballot, they'll both get Blanched, regardless of HRC endorsement.

I just noticed Human Rights Campaign and Hillary Rodham Clinton have the same initials.

Pls change thread title to: HRC endorses Kirk

If Kirk were living in a safe state instead of Illinois, I doubt he'd call for hearings.
He probably would not have been the nominee in 2010. If you are implying Kirk is bad, I advise you to look at Duckworth. It's hard for an Illinois Republican to be worse than an Illinois Democrat.

I'd take both of them over most New Jersey politicians

I'm not from NJ. I just moved there in Atlasia.
