PA-SEN, WI-SEN, IL-SEN will be key in taking control as well as either NH-SEN and or FL-SEN.
All we need is candidates aside from PA and we will be in good shape should Clinton be the standard barrier.

My pick would be Foster, he already beat a moderate Judy Biggert, Tammy Duckworth beat Joe Walsh a tea partier.

In another district, Hassert's district,  Foster beat Oberweis, and then lost it in 2010. If he can beat Oberweis and Biggert, he can beat Kirk. I want Madigan and Bustos and Foster to run.

That's what primaries are for. Last time we annoited Ginnoulias instead of having a real primary, not a fake one, and we lost. Hopefully this time is different.

Quigley who is also close to Durbin will be running by then. This race is enticing due to the fact that there is no frontrunner and CLINTON will be running.

Well, if she is taking a look at it, then Lisa Madigan isn't gonna run.

I think Lisa Madigan is a more likely candidate for governor in 2018.

Just like Chris Christie missed his chance to run for president in 2012, she is passing up a sure winnable race.

Paul Vallas, Francheis, as well as Tom Dart are looking for Governor in 2018, and the last female to run for governor and failed was Topinka.  She has a Mike Madigan nepotism problem, and Southern Illinois don't like either Madigans and frown on that realization, if she decides to run for governor.

Kelly defeated Halvorson 56-20 which was thought to be a competetive race and would be a better Senator than Duckworth.

State Senator Napoleon Harris floats his own name

http://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/20150130/NEWS02/150139976/are-a-policy-wonk-and-a-former-nfl-player-ready-for-2016

Sure wouldn't be my pick. Young, inexperienced, and socially conservative.

Kelly would receive my vote in the suggested Kelly-Harris primary from the article.

Fully endorsed, we need more like him in senate, a frm black NFLstate senator from Illinois and Ted Strickland and Sestak are solid recruits.

Quinn interjected himself on Peotone airport and the whole thing became about runway expansion, although Halvorson supported it at OHare, it made her the airport enemy.

Duckworth will run and win, although Kelly will run, she doesn't have the union support to cross finish line.

FOSTER, not Bustos, is from chicagoland suburbia, not the city itself, and considering a run. Bustos says she wants to stay in the House.

Judicial nomination on the party of senate leadership McConnell has been astounding and clearly hurt Kirk, who back at home, overwhelmingly support for the Loretta Lynch nomination.

Had the Dems used the Lame Duck session to confirm her, and not went ahead with the executive action on immigrants, which senate Republican leadership has used to block her, it would have been okay.  But, it didn't happen.

Now, Kirk is suffering, along with other blue state leadership, for stalling tactics, as well as trying to defund homeland security bill.

The Dems have a fair fight this year as opposed to 2014, since Quinn was so unpopular.

That was the GOP's fall guy, that they dont have anymore. IL seems to be in an anti GOP mood, since then as apparent of Rauner empty promises on budget, and Shock's suprise retirement.

I think his tenure in House, where Majority rules, like La Hood, made him less of a tea partier.

But, in senate, where filibuster and gridlock is norm, makes him much more of a typical GOPer.

Duckworth has a compelling story. Dems remember what Kirk did to Alexi Ginnoulius concerning the bank scandle, and the only ones that bought it, were voters who werent well informed, and wanted to punish the Dems in 2010.

This one will go to the Dems, since more of them will vote, this time.

Kirk and Ginnoulias were responsible for Tarp and Wallstreet, bailouts.

It was the military service record that was questioned, saying he was serving in Iraqi freedom, rather that stateside that Kirk lied about. Thats why Duckworth, who actually served, who lost her limbs is best to take him on, rather than Madigan.

When the Dems were in Senate majority, he played the filibuster game, right along with McCain, who also mascarade as a moderate.

His votes back when the GOP were in the minority on equal pay and minimum wage, and blocking judges has and will come up.

And there goes Kirk masquerading as a moderate.

Having served in Iraq combat as opposed to Kirk, serving stateside, Duckworth, seems to odds on favorite to beat Kirk, having lost limbs in combat duty.

But, if Robin Kelly gets in, she will be a formable opponent and will have an equal chance of winning against Kirk.

Quinn was relatively outspent real early and he fought the race to almost a draw. Dems are on the Chicago media all the time. I think Duckworth will stay competetive. As long as Bill Foster is staving off media attacks from the GOP, and he is appearing to do that, by her side.

Zopp or Harris will energize the black vote; that was missing from the Ginnoulias camp; last time around.

Bill Daley is endorsing Zopp which I am endorsing because he is running for Gov in 2018; and he is still mad over IL Dems for endorsing Quinn; a weak inc over him in primary. Want his candidate to win in 2016.
