Not a fan, but he seems like a good guy outside of politics.

Basically this. I supported him in the Dem Primary in '08 for this reason (didn't like Hillary at the time whatsoever - she has improved. Edwards was even with him though they have obviously both declined), but he has not been a good administrator nor do I agree with much of what he does. Similar policy to Bush.

Interesting. Are you a former democrat?

Great FF. It's disgusting that he will be constitutionally forced out of office in 2017.

I share PKemp's opinion. Obama is a great man and President, and while I have issues with his policies and disagree with his style of governing, I retain a very positive opinion (considering how my usual opinion of any politician is pretty negative...)

Couldn't have put it better myself. Obama 2016.

I don't know if I'll ever understand the depth of hatred some people have toward him. He's not ideal, but he's still one of my favorite Democrats in high office.

One of the better Presidents of the USA, and one of the better democratic leaders of the world. Not fantastic - the sheer power of being POTUS amplifies all personality flaws to gargantuan levels; but seems genuinely interested in what is right.

HP, but it will be depressing to see him go, considering the other Democrat that could take his place is far worse, and the GOPers will be far less concerned with the use of force than he was.

If our only options are FF or HP I would have to go with FF.  He has been a decent president and the country is in a much better state than it was after the disastrous Bush presidency.

A good number of Republicans think he's the anti-Christ.

Obviously a FF.

I'm going to go against the consensus and say he's pretty awful.

Definite HP, although those who say he's the US's worst president are deluded.

No where near as bad as some GOP'ers have painted him as, good president, could be better, but could be worse

Odds are there will never be another presidential candidate, or even political candidate period in my lifetime who'll mean as much to me as him and his campaigns did. I remember in 2012 driving to the DFL victory party in St. Paul. The polls running up to the day, the exit polls, and early results all indicated that it was quite obvious he was going to be re-elected. I was elated and yet on the drive was actually tearing up a little realizing this was the last time I was going to get to vote for Obama and the last of his campaigns that I was going to experience. I was 28 years old, and was 20 the first time I had heard of him. Less than a decade had passed between knowing who he was and voting for him for the final time, and yet he had made such an impact on my generation, and this is something I'm always going to remember. I've never felt anywhere near as united as I did in 2008 and 2012. Always will be a FF.

He's a baller. There were a couple of times where I was disappointed when I was younger and had a few true leftist tendencies but since I grew up and looking as his presidency as a whole, he's been good.

I'd continue to vote for him as long as he continued to run, but the 22nd Amendment, alas, exists, and we'll have to have either the Clinton Restoration or a Republican, neither prospects I find appealing at all.

I respect his discipline, which I know he takes prides in. He has remained dignified, which is befitting to the presidency.

I respect him for going all in with health care reform and getting the ACA passed. When he came into office, the experts didn't think health care reform could pass. Even if SCOTUS eviscerates it, I'm glad he pulled the trigger and never looked back.

Obviously I would have preferred Hillary in the presidency; her greater willingness to work the system, tenacity, and occasional populism would have been powerful assets. But the verdict of the primary was handled professionally and cordially by both sides.

I don't like Obama, but I'd take a third term of him over Clinton.

Hands down best president since Kennedy, and this executive order only makes him more of a FF. Massive Massive FF,  both politically and personally.

Barack Obama is one of my personal heroes.
