Something that came to my mind when I was in NoVa recently and felt like I entered this strange parallel universe where everyone was carrying around these strange black squares with tons of tiny buttons on them.

Option 3 for me. I jumped on the iPhone bandwagon fairly early.

Option 3 and 4.

The company I work for is one of those that still thinks it's cutting edge technology to issue to selected management.  Fortunately, despite also being in management, I'm not included.

Option 2 -- from 2006-2008, I had a Blackberry ... one of the iconic ones with the trackball in the middle. At the time, it was fantastic, and the company I was working for had a specialized version of our software for Blackberries because we had so many Capitol Hill customers.

Today, I can't imagine the impetus for anyone to use one. I wouldn't think that the transition from one OS to another would be a barrier for anyone anymore.

Option 2 - I had two Blackberries. One from 2008-2009 and the other from 2009-2011. By the time I got to the end of my second one's life expectancy, they were barbaric, slow things, but when I first got one, it was great and I loved it.

Option 3 - Never owned a smartphone, and rather hope I never feel the need.

Option 2. I had one at my job this summer and will presumably have one again when I go back there in the fall after I graduate (unless they upgrade between now and then).

For personal use, I have only ever had an iPhone.

Maybe if Obama stops using one the company will rebound and flourish again.  Thanks Obama!

I'm surprised they still exist.

I was too young to jump on the BlackBerry bandwagon, iPhone's became common place by the time I started looking at smartphones.
