I like Reid,
However,
The Senate Dems need a change in Leadership, I would prefer Dick Durbin or someone like him to take over.
I probably wouldn't be able to choose, would rather have Sandoval than Heller, but let's face it, if Sandoval ran, he would destroy Reid

Clearly Reid.

Interestingly Reid is more pro-life than Sandoval. I wonder if that would affect the results.

Also arguing about "where the political centre lies" or "who is more central" remains one of the most pointless debates to bicker about.

Reid hasn't shown any sign of being pro-life in years. Sandoval is probably more in favor of restrictions/against funding abortion than he is at this point.

Harry Reid. The last thing we need is more pro-choice Republicans in power.

Because the list is so large...

Larger than the list of pro-life Democrats in power. Consider, for example, this year's Senate and Gubernatorial elections. Somewhat pro-life Democrats running nationally: Childers, Griffith, Pryor, Ross, and Sheheen. All lost. The list of pro-choice Republican candidates includes Aiona, Baker, Brown, Collins, Foley, Fung, Herr, Hogan, Kashkari, Milne, Rauner, Sandoval, Wehby. At least five won.

Harry Reid. The last thing we need is more pro-choice Republicans in power.

Which is worse than a pro-choice Democrat?

Very much so, yes. Without abortion opposition, the Republican Party has very few redeeming qualities, unlike the Democratic Party.

Maybe even Reid if absolutely necessary but I don't think I could stomach it.

Sandoval's one of my favorite Republicans but I like Reid as well. I don't think I can make the choice.

Reid, although Sandoval is going to win easily in 2016. Hate to say it, but Harry Reid is retiring two years from now whether he does it pretty or ugly.

Reid since I want Democrats to regain the Senate, but I probably won't be shedding any tears if Sandoval beats him.

Sandoval would undoubtedly be one of the best Republican Senators.

However, he would still be a Republican Senator. Reid.

I'd vote for Inhofe to not be on the Science Committee.

A yellow dog for the foreseeable future in senate races, I am. Reid all the way.

That's a good point.  Reid claims to be pro-life, but sure doesn't vote that way when it comes to judges.  If Sandoval votes for pro-life judges, then that's more "pro-life" in reality than Reid.

I'd vote for Sandoval over Reid for Governor probably...but the nature of a legislature would force me to stick with Reid in a senatorial election. Party is what matters.

Reid. Even if I didn't like him, I'd still vote for him. It is vital that we take back the Senate in 2016.
