I read Daily Kos the most. Their elections blog is very, very good.

I don't read either as a general rule. Mother Jones the magazine is a liberal rag that would make the actual Mother Jones (a revolutionary socialist) sick to her stomach if she knew her name was on its masthead.

MoJo, without a doubt.  They do good, serious writing there, as exemplified by what I'd with not much hyperbole call probably the best piece of journalism of the past decade.

Daily Kos?  The elections sub-site is quite good, but the rest is too echo-chambery for my tastes.
