You guys have no idea how demeaning and frightening it can be to have one or more strange men leer at you or make unwanted advances at you.

While it's true I don't want my women talking to people in general, having them to talk to guys like them actually benefits me, since I look nicer by comparison. Makes my life easier. That of course assumes it is in a public space so I don't have to worry about their safety. I wouldn't inflict a one-on-one conversation with either of them even on a woman I dislike.

This post reeks of sexism, Gustaf.  I wonder how your girlfriend feels that you dont trust her? 

I would feel belittled and untrusted by such a sentiment.

Not sure what you're referring to here but that post was obviously a joke. Which makes it amusing that Memphis decided to put an out of context quote from it in his signature.

It should surprise nobody that I voted for Gustaf.

I admit to some reservations about the haughty attitude with which he tends to wage his battles, but his position on feminism is muy righteous (and does not remotely entail any of the pitfalls that HD and memphis imagine).

I am a bit of an asshole, I'll grant you that, but a lot of what people take offense at in my posts is just a form of irony. I'm far from as arrogant as people perceive me.
