Sorta off topic, but I still can't get over how American media/policymakers call the Islamic State "ISIS". They changed their name a while ago. I mean I get it, we don't want to call them that because it kinda legitimizes them, but still.

It's like how people in the media call Qatar "gutter". Just stop it.

"ISIS" makes for a good soundbite. It sounds like the evil organization in a Bond film! "IS" is kinda generic. I don't think it's anything more than that.

Seeing as how Gaddafi promised to kill more people than ISIS has...no. Libya is in some rough times now, but I don't see how it'd be better off with Gaddafi completely annihilating Benghazi.

Khrushchev's burial is actually a Russian idiom in the sense that the Soviet Union would outlive the United States'/Capitalism and would be present at the United States'/capitalism's funeral and burial, rather than a boast that the Soviet Union would destroy the United States

That’s what I meant. And either way, the USSR is no longer here and the USA is. The point is, Qaddafi likely wouldn't have slaughtered every single person in Benghazi and might have even hastened his own demise.
