The governor has officially nominated Ebowed for Pacific Justice. This is the confirmation hearing and I hereby open the floor to any questioning by my fellow Councillors before we proceed with a vote.

How familiar are you with the Pacific's current constitution?

Why, what have you done with it? Wink

We're using this one, correct?  It looks pretty straightforward to me.

Has Ebowed actually accepted this nomination?

Yes, I have, and I would be honored to serve the Pacific Region in this capacity.  Obviously I haven't been active, but the timing is right for me personally to spend time in Atlasia, so why not?  I can guarantee at the very least to be an impartial and politically detached interpreter of the law when required.  I welcome any questions.  Smiley

Yo Ebowed the best part of being Pacific Justice is that the Constitution allows you to just make rulings on your own about stuff, you don't need an actual case or trial or anything.

Also existing precedent and jurisprudence gives the Pacific judiciary a ton of authority to do stuff

Here was my court thread if you want to skim through the jurisprudence to see the kind of power you can wield

Seatown v. Politics Junkie and DemPGH v. Pacific were also major cases where I did fun stuff

In that case my esteemed former colleague has my full and enthusiastic support.
