A 9? In bowling? How does that even happen?

Bushie's lack of exercise has given him the muscles of a 3 year old.

OK... let's be honest. Even it required going to *gulp* Oklahoma... who wouldn't have paid to see an overweight American score lower than a 5 year old with one of those slide-like ball launchers?

I mean, bowling is considered the sport for the fat and nonathletic ...

Bushie, you might want to play with the bumpers the next time around.

His parents give him bumpers for everything else in his life.

Yes. Certain relatives of mine did this for years. I think they're disgusting. Stove top stuffing and not in-bird? An insult to both America and Jesus.

We always ran out of in-bird stuffing, but even then we never resorted to Stove Top but had a couple of bread pans with additional stuffing made.

As far as the mixes go, Pepperidge Farms stuffing is pretty good, even when it's not cooked in the bird. Stove Top is the Natty Light of stuffing.

Stuffing is just soggy bread. No need to get uptight about whether it was from a box or "fresh."

Gonna go out on a limb and say you've either never had Stove Top or have only had Stove Top. The difference is the chemicals used to flavor it.

Okay, enough. (1) Some of us don't have time to make stuffing by hand. (2) Cooking it in the bird is a recipe for food poisoning.

The Family Texas is having barbequed pulled pork for Thanksgiving dinner. The stuffing will not have been inside the animal in question at any point.

Agreed. Encouraging Jeff to eat better is one thing, and there are ways to do that with regard to both cost and time. Acting disgusted because his family doesn't have the culinary genius of Alton Brown is ... over the top.

Alton Brown? Lolno. All we do is buy this stuff called Bell's, I'm not sure if you midland folks have this in stores. You just mix it with a little water, celery, and onion, and stuff it in. Wink So simple even Bushie could do it with a little assistance!

Good Monday Afternoon.  It is a productive Monday in progress to begin week 4.  I'm still working on the same stuff I was all of last week.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel on this project.  My boss is out all week so the lead drafter is in charge.  I'll watch Monday Night Football tonight.

Presentation could be better but that actually looks pretty tasty. I'd go for that.

Bushie will definitely consider thinking about buying those, once the holiday season is over.

I'm home from a pretty good day of work.  I finished the project that I have been working on and will pitch in on other coworkers' projects the next two days.  We probably won't start anything new until Monday.  The next two days will be very easy and laid back days.  We'll basically just be killing time until we start fresh on Monday.  There is a chance we may get released early on Wednesday for the holiday, but I won't ask for it, and there is at least an equal, if not greater, chance that we'll stay until the obligatory 1700.  Our boss is on vacation all week, so I assume it will be up to the lead. If we do leave early, it probably won't be until 1600.  Tonight, I am going to watch the Ravens vs. Saints on ESPN and go to bed around 2230.

Is it possible Bushie is worried about being ostrecized by his fellow Okies if he becomes an uppity healthy?

I doubt Bushie has thought it through that far, but in a counterfactual universe where he did lose a lot of weight and get his health together, he likely would face some backlash. I've lost about 25-30 lbs over the last year or so, and even though my bmi remains in the 'overweight" category my father has made a few snarky comments about my weight. He definitely yearns for the day when I was officially "obese" just like everybody else in my family.

Absolutely. They'll think he's either sick or a gay. This is why he'll never lose weight. His mother and grandmother will chastise him all the time.

I'm sure there's an app out there with identical functionality but about 5% the membership, that costs $3.99.  That's the one for Bushie!
