Yeah $3.99 is way too small of an amount for Bushie to be scammed. Hell even described above is too low. He'd have to at least sign up for a whole year paid up front or something.

Good Tuesday Morning!  I am about to start Day 17 of my new job.  This should be an easy day as, again, we are just on mop up duty until Monday.  Tonight, I have the Thanksgiving Worship Service at church from 1830-1930, so it may be 1945 or 2000 before I get home tonight.

Lunch time.  We are just trying to fill the time for the next day and a half while remaining on task.  We won't start anything brand new until Monday.

Bushie, have you given any thought to baby spinach (the green leaves that taste identical to lettuce) and tomato on the ham sammys?  You could take that bland white bread and meat and instantly turn it into a decent enough lunch that comprises all vital food groups.

It was either the ham sandwiches or Whataburger today.  I opted to save $9.xx and eat the ham sandwiches.

HockeyDude, don't bother. If Bushie at all cared for spinach and tomatoes, he wouldn't be so fat. The only options in the world are Whataburger and ham sandwiches.

When did you last try them? When you were a child? Palates change as you get older. I'd also point out that there are tomatoes and tomatoes; cherry tomatoes taste like a slighty tart fruit (mostly because that's exactly what they are) for instance. Very different from big watery things. And uncooked baby spinach is very different to cooked spinach; it's like a delicate (and very tasty) piece of lettuce.

Anyway, what fruit and what veg do you like? Because it's little changes like this that can make a real difference to the quality of your diet. You need the nutrients and (frankly) also the roughage. If you were to do something as simple as (say) mainlining on apples or cherries, that would be a huge step forward.

So far today I've had a large Cortland apple, a small bowl of maple syrup yogurt, a tall glass of apple cider, two small slices of leftover olive-and-onion pizza, and a small bowl of spinach, carrot, and onion salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing. I'm thinking of having a peanut butter sandwich and a few glasses of water later in the afternoon, and for dinner I'll probably have a bowl or two of fish soup. And this isn't even me eating particularly well. Does any of that sound at all appealing to you, Bushie?

Well, Bushie certainly has no problem eating spaghetti and pizza so he clearly doesn't hate the taste of tomatoes.

The problem is there is no one around to make him spinach that would taste good and he has no curiosity to make it himself. I seriously doubt Mama and Grandma are good cooks. Bushie claims they are but his only metric is them vs. McDonalds. They seem to make the same 2-3 things over and over. The things they do make are not that hard. Roast, corn, and mashed potatoes are novice recipes.

The only spinach he's probably ever had is from a can/frozen pack boiled. He's never going to like vegetables if that is all he can get.

Bushie, you should start eating white Wonder bread. It's really healthy as opposed to whole wheat bread which is really bad for you and you should absolutely not eat at all.

White bread is so, sooo healthy. It's like practically eating a vegetable, (except vegetables are really unhealthy treats, of course)

Drinking Coca-Cola is also really healthy. Anyone who drinks Coke looks like a liberal vegan pussy. It's so healthy.

Whatever you do start eating healthy foods like white bread, sugar, and beef more and avoid unhealthy treats like vegetables, whole wheat, and lean chicken as much as possible. Okay?

Bushie - how about this - lunch was 2 hardboiled eggs, salad with cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, radishes, green onion and cauliflower....oil and balsamic dressing?

Dinner tonight - Grilled chicken thighs with lots of jamaican jerk spice, corn and salad.

Sound tempting?
