After looking at the link again, I will say that it doesn't look like a scam, but it still looks like it wants too much experience.  I'm going to pass on that one.  I was thinking scam when the first link came up with no search results and I can't cognitively back down the requirements from the link that had an error message in the job description without proof.

I like how he prefaces the news of his non-firing firing with "breaking news."

Your life will stop being a joke once you stop making it one, Jeff.

Can I not have a little fun and light-hearted humor?  Don't go all Inks on me now, Phil.  Nobody wants that...

Dude, what harm is there in applying?  It'll take 10 mins!

I am going to take a nap now and then get back on the job hunt after I wake up until church time tonight.

Nap.  Solid plan to succeed.  Apply for unemployment and food stamps first.

Are you under-qualified?  Probably, but it isn't like we are asking you to apply for a real high position.  Just apply.  What is the worst that can happen?

What are the plans for the Tulsa apt. Will you be renewing for another year?

He's going to sign a 5 year lease despite not living there because moving out of it would be too expensive.

Well, the general expectation is that people with 1 bedroom bachelor pads don't need to hire movers.

I think we're going to need an inventory of all the crap Bushie has in his apartment.

I'm not going to do comprehensive research because I'm lazy/don't care, but bargainmovingcompany.com lists their Tulsa to OKC price at "as low as" $966

When my grandmother passed away I was in charge of cleaning out her apartment. It was about $200 for two guys and a moving truck to drive her furniture a couple of miles to my brother's basement. I'm guessing the issue with Bushie is that he'd be moving to a different city. It did take us a few hours. She lived in a high rise building so we had to wait for the elevator over and over and over again. But old ladies have nice, heavy furniture and such. Does Bushie have fancy furniture. My mental inventory of his apartment is a couch, a tv, a microwave, an assemble it yourself dresser from Wal-Mart and a mattress/boxspring. Does nobody at Bushie's church own a pickup? Now that gas is so cheap, you could pay a friend $100 to help you move that stuff.

When I moved into my current apartment, the moving cost was roughly $600.  It was a much shorter distance than Bushie (only a couple miles), but also in a much more expensive area (Long Island)

How did Bushie move into it the first time? Did Papa buy him all new furniture?

this is all starting to disgust me.  here is a 32 year old chronically unemployed man napping while his near elderly father is working away to pay for his new computer (for porn!), his fast food, his unnecessary apt and his super duper cable package.

no.  but he seems to be getting worse...not better.

he is oblivious to other people's feelings.  hey as long as he gets to pig out, nap, and watch tv, who cares if his near elderly father has to slave away for it...

Yes,

Clearly the logical thing is for Jeff to just leave all his belongings in the apartment and for Papa Bushie to buy a new suite of furniture for the future OKC apartment. Because, you know, movers are expensive and Craigslist is too complicated. Jeff would really be doing his parents a favor.

Why can't all these "friends" from church help? The ones he wants to stay in Tulsa for sake of continuing to be in a congregation with? What happened to all that good Christian charity and small town hospitality?
