Phil, relax, my brother is just voicing his opinion.  He is allowed to say that Italian pizza is horrible.

rofl

But seriously what did/will you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner today?

There you go. Get a rice bowl (no tortilla), brown rice, and don't put a bunch of cheese and sour cream on top.

Bushie it's not hard to find healthy restaurants to eat at, even in Tulsa (and no, Golden Corral is not healthy; it is the opposite). You have six hours of sitting on your butt and watching TV ahead of you; you can run a simple google search.

I'd like to see him cut out carbs entirely and watch the weight fall off, but I know he won't do that or diet for that matter. I'm not saying diet in thanksgiving, but thinking Golden Corral is a healthy alternative just makes me lolololol

I posted some links to healthy places in Tulsa; he ignored them. He really refuses to actually fundamentally change his lifestyle. He thinks by just rearranging the ratio of Braums to Golden Corral he eats that'll be enough.

Like this place looks freaking delicious. Like better than a lot of the food I can find in NYC delicious. Why doesn't he try it for dinner tonight?

Okay, but weighing almost 300 pounds is also normal for you at this point. Do you see what the problem here is?

Bushie probably could have been a competitive eater if that talent had been nurtured at an early age.

Yes, this episode would surely get an 'A' on the AV Club's Update coverage. Really masterful storytelling and use of metaphor by the writers.

Bushie will definitely consider thinking about buying those, once the holiday season is over.

Could you imagine an Atlas road trip where we take Bushie out and try to get him to eat real food?  I think it'd be a big TLC hit to replace that family with a thousand kids.

Hey, say what you will about this lady, but at least she can use a stove without assistance.

Also it says she eats 8000 calories a day. Which is like 3 times what Bushie is supposedly eating. But they look about the same weight. So...

I know things must change.  What I need is a new attitude on my health.  I asked God on the way home from work to give me that new attitude and the desire, willpower, and discipline to make the changes I need to make and stick to them.

Guys treating himself to a restaurant meal as a reward at the end of a long work week, even if the work week is only three days long, is perfectly normal and there is NOTHING WRONG with abandoning his diet to do so.

Too bad God hasn't given Bushie the willpower and discipline yet to say no to his parents trying to force feed him Braums. I really hope He gets around to doing it soon. Sad

I'm pretty sure Bushie doesn't eat fish. At least I don't remember him ever eating fish.

Wow, I wasn't on the forum yesterday, but the one cheeseburger = one hour of bowling thing is insane. Doesn't he have a weight watchers or whatever app on his phone where he can put in the food he eats and the "exercise" he does?

None of Bushie's nonsense in that paragraph he typed explains why he's still eating fast food burgers at every opportunity for lunch and dinners outside of the house, where he has complete 100% control over what he eats. He's lazy and stubborn and he's never going to change his diet or exercise.

Let's drop this topic (forever) and move on to Kenya.

"Southern cooking" isn't opening a can of vegetables, lacing them with fat and throwing them in the microwave.

This is a good point. As a proud Texan and not-so-proud Southerner, I find Bushie's depiction of our unique and delicious cuisine to be incredibly offensive. Not only are canned green beans not an integral part of Southern cuisine, but they are indeed completely anathema to it. The South is a rich and fertile region, with a bevy of delicious crops. Southern food is all about eating fresh fruits and vegetables, despite Bushie's depictions of it.

That said, it is of course inherently unhealthy. And Bushie's bastardized, canned and meat-heavy (for what is already a meat-heavy cuisine) version is even more so.
