I am opposed to eliminating the requirement of a government firearms safety course and proper licensing in 2). Likewise I would oppose eliminating the punishments in 3) for violating these requirements.

I oppose this amendment.  The requirement of the safety course and licensing must remain.

I completely did not notice this until right now. For future reference, you introduce your legislation in the Assembly thread and then the Speaker makes a thread for debate.
