San Francisco, given that I would automatically make more money working one job than I do working two jobs now.

@Senator: And you'd pay the most absurd rent known to man, face the dirtiest streets every day. And nothing is free.

Which is why only very reluctantly to I stick with the City By The Bay. It's the only city here where one can expect somewhat respectable treatment if homeless.

All fine cities, but New Orleans will probably be underwater soon and San Francisco is at the mercy of San Andreas; so NY (barring some Emmerich style event) is probably safest.

New York is the least bad so long as Brooklyn counts. If not, I don't even think I'd be able to live.

NOLA edges out NYC by a few hairs due to the lower cost of existing, but I think my decision would still likely be swayed the other way by 95% of other factors.

San Francisco and then New York. No desire to move to NOLA.

[1] NYC
[2] San Fran
[3] NOLA

The only reason SF edges out Nawlins is because of the 49ers. Other than that, Nawlins wins virtually every other category.

NYC is far worse.  I would know, I've lived in both cities.
