180cm, so in imperial terms around 5'11".

My theory holds that its a good idea to shave at least an inch - often two and sometimes as many as three - off any given male height estimate. Of course an actually (but not freakishly) tall person I find that there's a certain nasty joy in ever-so-slightly underestimating your height when asked...
Yeah I see what you mean, until I got measured I always thought I was a couple of centimetres taller than I actually am.
