We need to do a poll on Atlas's favorite Oldiesfreak sock.

lean FF, even if they subscribe to banal "the GOP needs to be socially liberal but fiscally conservative" analysis.

HP. He has harassed me multiple times for endorsing some Democrats despite my GOP avatar. Probably a nice guy in real life though.

Seems to be convinced that the majority of Republicans are Rockefeller Republicans, despite all evidence to the contrary.

I'd love to see him go to an actual Republican Party meeting/convention and see how much of an odd bird he is.

I'm talking about an individual poster.

I don't really understand him. He seems to think that Southern/Appalachian whites are still Democrats, even though Democrats would get like 10% of the vote in these places if it wasn't for the African American population. And after the 2010/2014 bloodbaths he can't even fall back on the "Democrats still win local races there!" argument anymore. Most of McCain and Romney's electoral votes were from former Confederate states. He just needs to make peace with the fact that former Dixiecrats are now an extremely large segment of his party, and switch to an independent or Democrat if it bothers him so much.

I voted FF though, since he's an interesting presence. Certainly more coherent than Oldiesfreak.

I know. He does that too much though. I would definitely HP Rockefeller Republicans as a whole Smiley
