Do you all think she'll run again, perhaps a rematch against Perdue in 2020?

I expect we'll here from her again, but I assume the GA Democrats will probably have some fresher faces by then.

Hell, maybe by 2020 the GA Democrats might be able to run a black candidate and win.

I'm thinking Governor 2018 or Senate 2020. She's not going to beat Isakson, and she knows that, so forget about Senate 2016.

Yeah, though if I were her i would run for a different statewide office before running for senate in 2020(I suspect Carter might want to run for the open gov seat in 2018)

The gal who lost by 8 points after she spent the last 2 weeks of her campaign talking about Ferguson? Ha. No.

I would hope that the Georgia dems would find a fresher face. She just seems so bland, and I'd like to see less dynastic politics.

Possibly in 2016 should Isakson retire and if it's a Democratic year.

Sure. The party's bench is weak in Georgia. And she didn't embarrass herself in this cycle.

She was the most successful Democrat running in a Republican-held Senate seat in 2014, so I'd say she does. (As an interesting aside, besides those who won, the most successful Democrat in a Republican-held House seat (so actually 4th, but whatever) was Nick Casey in WV -- maybe that party's not as dead as it looks?)

That was because Mooney's a carpetbagger to the point where he makes Scott Brown look as New Hampshire as the Old Man of the Mountain.

I don't think so, there are too many up-and-comers among Georgia Democrats to leave room for losers like Nunn.

Now, with John Barrow out of job GA Democrats need to recruit him for statewide office.

When did she talk about Ferguson at all during her campaign? If I remember the main focus of her campaign in the last two weeks was Perdue's outsourcing comments..
