Jerry Moran is not well defined in Kansas, and if former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Paul Davis ran against Moran, he could give him a good race. Thoughts?

No. Moran is more popular than Roberts or Brownback, and visits Kansas frequently.

Moran does not have the same problems that Roberts had. He'll be fine.

He should run for Governor in 2018 against Kris Kobach.

He'd be term limited in 2018. Kobach would certainly try to run, which should give Democrats an opportunity, particularly in a good year.

FWIW, I got an email in my inbox from Greg Orman discussing Obama/immigration.

This. It's not like Kansas under Brownback is going to get any better over the next four years.

Anyone else think Kansas would've gone Democratic had the candidates flipped, namely Davis against Roberts and Orman against Brownback?

Anyway, no to the actual question.

I think the wave this year was too much. Orman may have lost a little less to Brownback, but otherwise, nah.

Yep, then I proceeded to unsubscribe.

Orman could've beaten Brownback but no way would Kansas send a Democrat to the Senate.

Orman could've legitimately beat Brownback, but Davis would definitely not have beaten Roberts.

Yea, he might actually get 35% instead of 25%-30%.

Moran actually lives in Kansas unlike Roberts, so he would destroy Orman

Do you have to talk about immigration in every thread?

You have tried that before and we clearly establsihed it was false then. I have posted in a dozen threads tonight and have not yet mentioned the issue.

A bigger loss would hurt his reputation. Right now he's a plausible candidate for other offices, especially with the bridges Brownback is burning.

He could potentially run for governor in 2018, but it would be much harder.
