I'm not sure what a 9 score in bowling means--I assume that it's low--but it doesn't evoke pathos.  A critter who can't walk, on the other hand, always makes me feel sad.

I don't know, depends on the circumstances.  But you gave me a chance to brag, so I'm gonna.  I used to carry a 190 average in bowling leagues, and my highest game was a 277.  And I can't even see! Cheesy

Option 2 is a sign of extremely poor health. Option 1 is just a lack of practice at a sport.

An inability to walk for 15 is an unfortunate disability that ought not to be ridiculed. A persistent refusal to do so is something else entirely.
