No. I don't see anything wrong with being passionate about a particular candidate, and IceSpear is at least honest that he is a hack. I dislike hacks when they pretend they aren't hacks and worry about them when they slip into delusion.

And yes, a lot of people are far more hackish about people like Sanders, Paul, Walker etc. and are never called out on it.

Are we defining hack as someone who is slavishly devoted to their candidate of choice, or as someone who is both slavishly devoted to said candidate *and* shamelessy spins all news as being favorable to said candidate?  Because I'd thought that in Atlas usage, "hack" meant that you were spinning every piece of news in a favorable way towards your candidate(s), yet at least some of the above posters are fairly realistic about their candidates' electoral prospects, even if they're not happy about it.  For example, I can't think of any Bernie Sanders supporters here who actually think he's likely to win the Democratic nomination.

On the sexism topic, I don't automatically assume anyone who opposes Hillary is sexist just because they're a male. What grinds my gears is when people hold her to standards they don't hold male Democrats to.
