No. I don't see anything wrong with being passionate about a particular candidate, and IceSpear is at least honest that he is a hack. I dislike hacks when they pretend they aren't hacks and worry about them when they slip into delusion.

And yes, a lot of people are far more hackish about people like Sanders, Paul, Walker etc. and are never called out on it.

Thank you! I mean, aren't most of us hacks to some degree? I only get so much flack for it because Hillary is one of the few politicians the Atlas lefties and righties agree is horrible.

As Snowstalker said, the poll question and the thread title are asking opposite things. I voted "yes" but within the confine of the question, I suppose it should have been "no" (not justified). The main difference between most other hacks and this particular case is that a) it's usually done during the actual election cycle where the candidate is running and b) hasn't been going on for (years?) prior. I'd be fine with it if it were, say, February 2016.

He also seems to have an uncanny knack of somehow sensing any anti-Hillary thread or reply and immediately moves in to go on defense; I've noticed in plenty of cases where he is literally the next reply to such a statement.

No, he has every right to be "hackish" about Hillary Clinton as I do about Gary Johnson or Rand Paul or as Miles does about Landrieu, etc.

I responded no to the thread question, but the poll question is actually opposite

He actually seems pretty calm with the Hillary activism. I have a pro Hillary friend who could literally find nothing wrong with her or any scenario where she could lose the presidency. In comparison IceSpear appears fairly calm and rational. He also appears to be willing to have shared priori's with Republicans on electoral patterns.

I am however new so that's just my initial impression.

Hey, I've been perfectly willing to call out Rand Paul on his nonsense. As much as I think he's the best of the GOP field, he's wildly infuriating.

On the sexism topic, I don't automatically assume anyone who opposes Hillary is sexist just because they're a male. What grinds my gears is when people hold her to standards they don't hold male Democrats to.

That's what I said....

At least he's not one of these people who see dog-whistles in every negative post about her:

Yes, he's definitely going too far.

All Hillary supporters must be so lukewarm, they think she should've been disqualified from being in the Senate and every other public office she's ever had.

Hardly.  If IceSpear and others (who have time for it) weren't at it defending her, the sexism and misogyny of this virtually all-male forum would go unchecked.

Basically this.

Funnily enough, I was a Hillary supporter in the days when I was more left-wing. Since I've moved to the right I've found that I favor Sanders and Warren types more.

Oh, my bad, I misread it.

LOL. Yes, being willing to settle for Hillary after she's shoved down your throat is fine. But actually supporting her? Madness!
