What do you guys know about Roy Blunt, all I know is he is Missouri's representative for CD7 and the Majority Party Whip of the House of Representatives.

I need to find out a bit about him, anybody know anything?

He must have had his son at a very young age--I think Roy Blunt is about 50 or 51.

I need to find out a bit about him, anybody know anything?

You could check out his house page at www.house.gov or have a look at the 2004 Almanac of American politics book by Michael Barone

He is serving his 4th term in the House

The CD-7 is in the southwest corner of the state; includes the city of Branson and Springfield. The district is rural and has been pretty much Republican territory since the 1861.

I know where the district is, my friend may be moving there and I wanted to know a bit about the congressman. Is he moderate conservative or extreme right wing'er? anyone know?

The American Conservative Unions rates Congress on a basis of 1 to 100. 1 being liberal and 100 being Conservative. Blunt generally is in the high 90's

Blunt is a conservative Republican

CD-7 is Southwest Missouri - it is a very conservative district.
