Hoodie (normal).

The hats are only worn by old people or hunters here:

HOODIES!

For one, hoodies are super comfortable and appropriate for winter days and summer nights.

For two...

You know my thread about going to church in a suburb? Well this church didn't have their heating up that much so I kept my hoodie on inside, as did many other people. You know what's even better than cute girls doing that hand raising thing? Cute girls in hoodies doing that hand raising thing.

500-1000 year old churches ?

(some have a seat-heating though, but definitely no indoor heating)

OK, that explains it.

Even though I remember masses as a kid when it had -10°C inside the church and asked myself "when the feck is this mass going to be over ?" *freezetodeath* That's normal here (but not one of the reasons why I actually quit the Church alltogether later on).

I feel like it has more to do with that free higher education.

No, it has more to do with the fact that our masses are incredibly boring. You have to rattle off the same old phrases all over again and I have sometimes felt like being in the Borg collective during mass. That's why a lot of people quit the Church, not just me.

Fedoras are acceptable if you are an older black man or from the 1950's--otherwise, avoid wearing them at all costs.

I have to go with fedora, but then I'm rarely outside without a hat. Plus I own a couple of fedoras that get occasional use. I am also an old.

I absolutely see muon in a fedora, and in a nasty Chicago Bears old worn hoodie.......worn by an old.  Smiley

Hoodies, but I'm white so I can wear them without getting shot by a Zimmerman.

Hoodies for sure - I wear them informally all the time, around the house, out for my run, etc. For more formal wear, definitely a knit hat that you can pull down over your ears while outside. I have a plain gray one that's great.

Yep. 10/10 on the pic.

I hate them both so much that I voted for fedoras, simply because somebody has to vote for the option Tongue.

Flat caps appear to be gaining in popularity, BTW:

I might consider getting one of those.
