Opinion of Nightcrawler (the movie with Jake Gyllenhaal)

I just saw Nightcrawler tonight, and it was incredible.

The cast was excellent, and Jake Gyllenhaal was better than excellent, he played a functional psychopath perfectly with a the off-ness and a lack of charisma (in a good way) which made the character creepy, but also one understand how such a person could function in society, there was none of Dexter's or Hannibal's grandeous evil (which was something of a parody in itself), there was just a logical but risk taking psychopath, whose evil was fundamental petty in nature.

The movie told straight, through for a Danish audience it sometimes became so dark that it became hilarious with the entire audience laughting (I don't know if Americans would or will find the same humour in it, as we did).
