The key players were very good at hiding the magnitude of the circumstances that led to windjammer's departure as VP over the summer. No one wanted to kick someone who was already down. And he is a really good guy. But rest assured that it wasn't some ridiculous hit-job. There are legitimate concerns I would have with putting windjammer in the Oval Office, and they mostly fall outside the realm of his political ideology.
