- Wolf is my new governor
- Shaheen beat the carpetbagger

As for the three I'd change...

- Crist beats The Criminal
- Burke beats Walker
- Hagan beats Tillis

4. That most of the pickups are by Republicans I find acceptable either wholly or in general
5. The GOP made gains in Governorships and held nearly all of their own.

Changes I would make
1. No Tillis in NC
2. Sununu running again in NH and winning
3. Corbett bowing out in favor of Jim Gerlach or someone like that

I'm thankful that Scott Walker won re-election and Bruce Rauner kicked that disaster that is Pat Quinn out of office.

I'm thankful that I don't expect anything good from politicians anymore.  This relatively new attitude has measurably reduced my degree of disappointment in life.  Of course, I'm still glad when good things slowly happen over time.  But I don't expect it.  That makes the surprise more pleasant.
