Okay, look, I get that he was held under 65% in his 2014 primary by a pair of political unknowns, I get that he's no liberal stalwart, but what, specifically, do you guys find in Cuomo that makes you hate him so much?

He is literally the definition of a craven political opportunist. Zero values, zero integrity.

But then again, that's a plus to you moderate heroes and Very Serious PeopleTM.

1) He's a DINO and a fiscal conservative
2) He's a DINO from New York. People tend to be more accepting of DINOs from red states
3) He's corrupt
4) He's a pathological liar
5) He's a traitor who has aided the NYGOP on multiple occasions, not only hand delivering them the state senate on a silver platter, but even going so far as to strike a deal with them to inflate his victory margin (which hilariously failed, as he massively underperformed expectations)
6) He's just unlikable in general

Political opportunist, purposely kept Republicans in control of state senate, treated his primary challenge as if she wasn't there, against many common sense policies, for fracking (what kind of hp wants that), corrupt (why do you think he ended the corruption group so early?) and just generally a terrible person.

And Jerry Brown did that in the general. Better flay him, too.

Cuomo just does what's best for Cuomo.  He has no ideology.  So, his whole strategy is that he gets Democratic votes by his party affiliation and he gets Republican votes and cooperation by giving them everything they want.  He knows nobody actually follows New York politics closely because it's so depressing, so he just caters to Republicans in the legislature and conservative voters in Long Island.

That's just wrong.

The bigger issue is what they do with it upon obtaining it. Chuck Schumer used Wall Street cash to get a Democratic Senate. Andrew Cuomo used Wall Street cash to get a Republican Senate and push through his right wing agenda.

What I find funny about Cuomo is that neither Democrats nor Republicans seem to like him at all.  People like Joe Manchin are conservative Dems and well liked by both Republicans and Democrats.  Blue-state "DINOs" (though most Republicans would beg to differ on that) aren't too popular it seems.

Manchin also isn't corrupt and has principles on issues (Pro-Gun, Pro-Life, a fiscal moderate within the confines of his party). Cuomo is the Democrats equivalent of Chris Christie, but worse. I'm not a huge Joe Manchin fan, but within the confines of Blue Dog Democrats, he seems more respectable and honest than most.

I feel like the Moderate Heroes on this forum don't know or don't care about the whole corruption part.

^This. Nothing that could possibly happen to Andrew Cuomo is bad enough.
